About the Role
Empower Strategies is a recruiting and human resources consulting firm serving primarily Republican and conservative political, advocacy, and public affairs clients. We are seeking a part-time and fully remote Recruiting Intern for Spring 2026 to support candidate sourcing, research, and data organization across a wide range of roles. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student interested in political staffing, recruiting, or HR operations.

Responsibilities
  • Review applicants and identify strong candidates across various recruiting platforms
  • Build organized list of candidate leads for Recruiters to conduct outreach
  • Add and update candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring accurate tagging, categorization, and data completeness
  • Support data cleanup projects to keep candidate pipelines organized and easily searchable
  • Monitor applicant flow and identify strong prospects that align with client needs
  • Participate in regular check-ins, training sessions, and sourcing reviews with the recruiting team
Requirements
  • Ability to commit to approximately 15-20 hours per week during the spring semester
    • Our team is based on the east coast, so ability to work during east coast hours is preferrable
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interest in conservative or Republican political staffing, recruiting, or Human Resources
  • Ability to manage research-heavy tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with AirTable is a plus
